On Friday, April 26, the best party of the weekend is being held at TV Lounge.

Stirring this event are Detroit veterans JD Simpson and Tree, along with the Horatio Williams Foundation and UPTOWN Magazine.

Tree and JD have a long history of curating some of Detroit’s most iconic events. After all, they are the duo that gave Detroit Half Past Three. In fact, this event is also the Half Past Three reunion.

If that wasn’t enough, they have enlisted DJ Jazzy Jeff to provide the entertainment for the evening.

I asked JD, what should we expect from this event? He replied, “Beautiful people, great music, and good energy. We do this for Detroit.”
