My name is K I'm 60 years old I'm a widow here in Michigan.

I have one son who's 37. I've lost 3 other children, so he is my remaining golden boy, if you will. He and I are very very close. He has a new fiancé and she is from Honduras, originally.

So needless to say we do have some communication problems. She is very jealous of my son and I's relationship and constantly looking for things to argue about. Previously, my son was married and in a 17 year relationship prior to his new fiancé. I loved his previous wife very much. But now his new fiance wants me to cut them off completely and treat them like dirt which I am not going to do because I'm not that kind of person.

She's nonstop trying to find out information, if I communicated with his ex, which I do every once in a while. I am constantly walking on eggshells with her, ensuring that I don't say the wrong thing, don't blink, don't say this or that. I don't know what to do!

I'm ready to cut her off completely and they are not even married, yet! The wedding is in July.

I don't know what he sees in her. I understand he wants to stick by her side and stop the strife between us but she's wearing me down I'm tired of it.

Should I cut myself off from them and not even participate with the wedding?
