There is something powerful about a room full of polished, professional, and purpose-driven women — especially when that room is designed to build wealth.
Founded in Detroit, the Wealth InvestHer Network (WIN) is more than a women-led organization. It is an economic force. Led by Jessie Hayes and Portia Powell, both founders who’ve scaled seven-figure businesses, led financial institutions, and secured major corporate partnerships, WIN represents strategy at the highest level. These are not women gathering for inspiration alone — they are gathering for execution.
Over the past five years, Wealth InvestHer Network has evolved from a bold vision into one of Detroit’s most dynamic women-focused business ecosystems. The leadership behind WIN understands something critical: access changes outcomes. And they have built an infrastructure that delivers exactly that.
Through curated programming, high-level networking, and intentional collaboration, WIN has supported and elevated hundreds of women entrepreneurs and professionals. They have hosted five consecutive pitch competitions, deploying real capital directly into women-owned businesses — not promises, not panels, but tangible financial investment.
They have also facilitated corporate partnerships that connect members to institutional opportunities, ensuring that women are not only present in the room, but positioned to lead within it.
What sets WIN apart is its culture of internal economic circulation. Members hire one another. Refer one another. Build with one another. Wealth is not just discussed — it is circulated within the ecosystem. That level of intentionality reflects maturity, vision, and discipline.
The launch of the Wealth InvestHer Collaboration Hub in Eastern Market solidifies their commitment to permanence. A physical space dedicated to learning, strategy, and execution sends a clear message: this is infrastructure, not a moment.
The women of Wealth InvestHer Network are refined, strategic, and undeniably powerful. They represent a new era of leadership — one rooted in ownership, partnership, and economic intelligence.
In Detroit and beyond, WIN is proving that when women are given access to capital, strategy, and high-value connections, every connection truly becomes a win.

Annette Anderson - 1st Step Healthcare
Annette Anderson is a Registered Nurse, entrepreneur, speaker, and the visionary Founder of 1st Step Healthcare Training in Detroit, Michigan. A proud homeowner on the west side of Detroit and a champion for underserved communities, Annette has built more than a school — she has built a movement.
Her journey did not begin with privilege. Annette grew up in poverty, moving more than eight times before the age of 18, often in homes plagued by instability and hardship. She became a mother at 16 and dropped out of high school in the ninth grade. But what could have been the end of her story became the beginning of her purpose. Determined to rewrite her narrative, she earned her GED, became a Certified Nursing Assistant, and eventually a Registered Nurse.
After seven years in nursing, Annette recognized a painful truth: many people — especially people of color and young mothers — lacked access to affordable, supportive pathways into healthcare careers. So she created one.
In January 2024, she officially opened the doors to 1st Step Healthcare Training, an accelerated healthcare training institution committed to breaking barriers. Her school offers fast-track programs such as CNA, Phlebotomy, and EKG Technician training — with mentorship, mindset coaching, and job placement support built into the experience. Annette even provides free education to one to two students each month because she understands firsthand that finances should never block destiny.
Under her leadership, the school has trained hundreds of students, celebrated dozens of graduating cohorts, and achieved an impressive state exam pass rate. She has received the Motor City Match award, been featured in Voyage Magazine, and has appeared on local news outlets for her impact in the Detroit community.
Annette is not only an educator — she is a mentor. Each morning, she pours into her students with motivation, reminding them that their past does not define their future. Her long-term vision includes expanding into additional medical programs, launching an LPN pathway, building multiple healthcare training campuses, and becoming one of the most influential healthcare educators in the country.
Through resilience, faith, and relentless ambition, Annette Anderson continues to transform pain into power — and classrooms into launching pads for generational change.

As African American women CPAs, Robyn and Ashley have been trailblazers in their community, building a respected advisory firm during a time when minority ownership in public accounting remains underrepresented nationwide. Their leadership has demonstrated that technical expertise, strategic advisory, and community impact can coexist at the highest level.
Over the last 15 years, J&F Advisors has grown from a startup practice into a trusted advisory partner serving clients across retail, nonprofit, real estate, and professional services industries. J&F Advisors specializes in outsourced CFO solutions, Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS), and tax strategy — helping business owners transition from compliance-focused accounting to forward-thinking financial strategy.
At the core of J&F Advisors’ success is a partnership built on mutual respect, shared values, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Robyn and Ashley’s leadership is grounded in trust, accountability, and a deep belief that their clients deserve both technical precision and strategic insight. Their complementary strengths — paired with high standards and disciplined execution — have allowed the firm to grow thoughtfully while maintaining the quality and integrity that defined it from day one.
Throughout the firm’s journey, Robyn and Ashley have been honored as 40 Under 40 honorees, Forbes Best in State Accountants, MICPA Awardees and AICPA Leadership Academy graduates. Together, the partners have built a firm culture centered on excellence, mentorship, and long-term relationships.
Beyond growth and accolades, their proudest accomplishment remains impact — developing young professionals, supporting minority entrepreneurs, and strengthening financial infrastructure within the communities they serve.
Fifteen years later, J&F Advisors continues to lead with integrity, discipline, and vision — building legacy, not just balance sheets.

Aisha Habeeb
Rooted in Resilience: How Aisha Habeeb is Transforming Mental Health for Women and Families
In Detroit, where resilience runs deep and legacy matters, Aisha Habeeb, LMSW is leading a quiet but powerful revolution, one rooted not in noise, but in healing. As a licensed therapist, mental health consultant, and generational healing strategist, Aisha has dedicated her life’s work to helping women, mothers, and daughters reclaim their voice, restore their identity, and rewrite the emotional inheritance passed through generations.
As Founder and Clinical Director of Voices of Generations Healing Hub P.L.L.C. and its nonprofit arm, Voices of Generations 501(c)(3), Aisha has built a growing ecosystem of therapy, mentorship, and wellness programming grounded in culturally responsive care and clinical excellence. Since opening the Healing Hub in 2023, she and her team have served more than 250 individuals and families, addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and complex mother-daughter relationship dynamics.
Her approach is both clinical and holistic. Aisha integrates evidence-based therapy with somatic movement and community-centered healing spaces, ensuring clients are supported mentally, emotionally, and physically. This multidimensional model allows individuals not only to cope, but to transform.
Her impact was powerfully demonstrated through Her Healing is Sacred, a transformational gathering that brought together more than 100 women for a collective experience of connection, emotional intervention, and restoration. The event reflected the philosophy that guides her work: when one woman heals, generations change.
Beyond direct clinical care, Aisha is deeply committed to developing the next generation of mental health professionals. She mentors emerging therapists, trains clinicians, and collaborates with community organizations to expand access to personalized, culturally responsive mental health services. Her leadership has produced measurable client outcomes and sustained organizational growth, positioning Voices of Generations as a transformative healing collective in Detroit’s mental health landscape.
Aisha’s commitment to empowerment extends nationally through her 15-year tenure as Program Director for Save A Girl, Save A World, where she has led mentorship and leadership initiatives impacting hundreds of HBCU young women. These programs focus on health and wellness, leadership development, career readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, equipping young women with the tools to build sustainable futures.
Her leadership also spans youth violence prevention and male mentorship. Through Midnight Basketball and Boxing, Aisha created safe, structured spaces for young men ages 11 to 24, fostering discipline, mentorship, and strengthened relationships between youth and the Detroit Police Department. She currently serves as a clinical consultant for A Seat at My Sister’s Table, supporting women impacted by sexual trauma and systemic adversity.
As a nonprofit leader, Aisha has successfully managed more than $1.5 million in grant-funded programming, supported by major institutions including Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Fund, Hyundai, Volkswagen Group of America, Toyota Automotive, United Way, the Kellogg Foundation, and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. These initiatives have provided financial literacy education, HBCU scholarships, entrepreneurship training, substance abuse prevention, public health outreach, STEM access, and critical support services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
A proud Detroiter, Aisha remains deeply engaged in both professional and community networks. She is an active member of the Michigan Black Business Alliance (MBBA), Wealth InvestHer Network (WIN), and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She also formerly served as Vice President of the Omicron Omicron Chapter of the Phi Alpha Honor Society, reflecting her long-standing commitment to academic and professional excellence.
Yet beyond her titles, credentials, and accomplishments, Aisha identifies most strongly with her role as a mother. Her two daughters serve as her daily inspiration and living reminder of the generational impact of healing.
Her mission is clear and unwavering: when women heal, families shift. And when families shift, entire communities transform.
Through her leadership, clinical practice, and visionary commitment to generational healing, Aisha Habeeb is not simply providing therapy, she is helping to restore legacy, rebuild identity, and reshape the emotional future of families and communities alike.
