Pita Way and The Black Legacy Advancement Coalition will host the second annual Levie Glenn Christmas Clothing and Food Drive on Saturday, December 20th, 2025, at the Joseph Walker Williams Community Center!

Annually, the Black Legacy Advancement Coalition partners the family of the late Levie Glenn at Christmas to provide new or gently used clothing to those in need. This year, Pita Way is elevating the partnership with 500 free meals – first come, first serve. All are welcome!

Saturday, December 20th from 11am to 2pm
Joseph Walker Williams Community Center
8431 Rosa Parks Blvd · Detroit, MI · 48206

If you are looking to be generous this holiday season, you are welcome to bring new or gently used clothing, undergarments and/or socks to donate to the unhoused and less fortunate this holiday season.

We can’t wait to celebrate by giving back this Christmas!

Day in and day out, BLAC provides tangible support to dozens of Detroiters – including youth and elders. Some of which are transitioning from foster care, homelessness, abuse, neglect, the criminal justice system and other challenging circumstances.
