Step Into a Universe Where Creativity Knows No Limits
Worlds Beyond: An Exploration of Imagination is an extraordinary exhibition celebrating the visionary artists of Soul Studio — talented creators with special needs who invite visitors to experience the rich, whimsical worlds that live inside their imaginations.
From Shira’s There Will Be Blood, inspired by a Magic School Bus journey through veins and arteries, to Jennifer’s playfully silly The Eye (“I got really silly. It was so fun!”), every work is a fearless expression of pure creativity. Guests can explore Nicky’s intricate miniature neighborhood, feel the glow of Caryn’s Dazzling Volcano where laser lights erupt into color, and gather around Adam’s Fire of the Night, inspired by campfire storytelling.
This exhibition goes far beyond art sales — it is a celebration of courage, joy, and the magic that happens when imagination is set completely free. The artists of Soul Studio embrace the quirky, the campy, and the fantastic, reminding audiences what it means to create without limits.
Aliens, Crowns, and Bigfoot
The show was inspired by Josiah, a standout Soul Studio artist whose work blends technical skill with a one-of-a-kind worldview. Drawing inspiration from animation, aliens, and his dry but hopeful sense of humor, Josiah creates art that is authentically his own — sometimes playful, sometimes unexpected, always compelling. His pieces may not always seek universal appeal (think: dogs riding surfboards), but they remain unforgettable expressions of originality.
The exhibition highlights the importance of giving every artist space to develop their own voice. At Soul Studio, facilitators work with each participant to help them discover what they want to express visually. Worlds Beyond celebrates that journey and invites visitors to do the same — to embrace the most unique, imaginative parts of themselves.
