Ms. Scott earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Marygrove College and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wayne State University. Her professional leadership experience includes serving as Clinical Director at All Well-Being Services, where she now serves as Board of Chair on the FARM Committee. She also served as a manager with the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN), overseeing Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) providers throughout Wayne County. Since 2011, her career has centered on behavioral health, clinical leadership, advocacy, program development, and community-based services.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Ms. Scott founded Time Together Adult Day Center after recognizing the critical need for structured, supportive, and socially engaging services for vulnerable adults experiencing increased isolation. What began with only three clients has grown into an organization that has served more than 360 individuals, providing community-based services designed to promote dignity, independence, social connection, emotional wellness, and improved quality of life.
