FRIENDSHIP CIRCLE SOUL GALLERY HOSTS NEW EXHIBIT, LOOK UP

Look Up
is a new exhibition inspired by skies, space, and flight, featuring majestic eagles, cosmic landscapes, and treetop scenes across every medium. From the moment guests enter, they’ll experience organza billowing from the ceiling, mirrors and glass catching the light, and a full collection of artwork created by artists with special needs who spent months exploring new techniques, taking creative risks, and producing truly exceptional work. Six artists spent 79 hours creating a single collaborative chandelier—layered with cloud-like rings, cascading beaded strands, and crystal teardrops that shimmer like falling rain.

It’s as magnificent as it sounds—and it’s the centerpiece of Look Up, opening January 15 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Friendship Circle Soul Gallery - 5586 Drake Road, West Bloomfield, MI

The exhibition also highlights powerful individual artist stories:
- Mikayla, who tried soft pastels for the first time this session, created three vibrant sky scenes.
- Maya, who usually works small, challenged herself to needle-felt a full-scale black swan.
- Josiah spent weeks developing his whimsical Gentle Bugs series.

Every piece in Look Up is available for purchase, with first access on opening night, offering collectors and community members the opportunity to support artists directly through their work.

At the open night guests are invited to sip stardust mocktails (with edible glitter), meet the artists, and experience a show that quite literally encourages viewers to look up—at the sky, at creativity, and at the extraordinary talent within this community.
