Some events leave an impression. Others leave a lasting impact.
The first annual Big Brothers Big Sisters Fashion Show was nothing short of extraordinary—a night where fashion, community, philanthropy, and inspiration came together under one roof to create an unforgettable experience. From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, elegance, and a shared commitment to supporting a meaningful cause.

Hosted by the charismatic Chuck Bennett, the evening celebrated more than style and creativity. It highlighted the importance of mentorship, community engagement, and the positive influence that Big Brothers Big Sisters continues to have on the lives of young people throughout Metro Detroit.

From the beginning of the evening to the final walk down the runway, every detail reflected excellence. Guests enjoyed an elevated experience that brought together community leaders, supporters, fashion enthusiasts, creatives, and families, all gathered for a common purpose—to uplift and empower the next...

The runway itself was a showcase of remarkable talent. Designers from across Metro Detroit presented collections that demonstrated innovation, craftsmanship, and individuality. Each collection brought its own unique perspective while collectively highlighting the incredible depth of talent that exists within Detroit's fashion community.

Among the standout designers was LRH by Lanston Howard, whose designs brought youthful energy, creativity, and confidence to the runway. Donovan Dewberry once again demonstrated why he remains one of Detroit's most respected fashion talents, presenting pieces that were both sophisticated and memorable.
Additional collections from Stay Fly Tie, Cedi, and Tayon Collections added versatility, creativity, and contemporary style to the evening.
Siana Treece captivated the audience with stunning gowns that embodied elegance, sophistication, and timeless beauty. Her designs flowed effortlessly down the runway, creating some of the evening's most memorable moments.

Of course, no fashion show is complete without exceptional models, and the runway participants delivered with confidence, grace, and professionalism. Their poise and confidence transformed the runway into a true celebration of fashion and self-expression.

One of the most beautiful aspects of the evening was witnessing the sense of unity throughout the event. Familiar faces reconnected, new relationships were formed, and countless conversations reflected the spirit of collaboration that continues to strengthen Detroit's creative community.

Beyond the glamour and excitement, the event served as an important reminder that fashion has the power to create change. Through fundraising efforts and community support, the fashion show helped shine a light on the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

As the evening transitioned into the Afterglow celebration, guests continued networking, celebrating, and reflecting on a successful event that exceeded expectations.

The inaugural Big Brothers Big Sisters Fashion Show successfully demonstrated what is possible when purpose and passion come together. It was more than a fashion event—it was a celebration of mentorship, creativity, community, and the power of showing up for others.
