Sound Mind Sound Body (www.smsbacademy.com), in partnership with Unify Detroit Coalition and New Beginnings Community Development Corporation, is hosting a Free Community Health Fair on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Sound Mind Sound Body, 11406 Morang (at Beaconsfield), Detroit, MI 48224.

This event will provide:·
- Free health screenings including diabetes, cholesterol, kidney function, blood pressure, and COVID testing.·
- A bag of fresh groceries for those in need, provided by Forgotten Harvest.·
- Access to local health partners offering valuable resources for families.·
- Optional social distancing and masks for comfort and safety.

The fair highlights Sound Mind Sound Body’s mission to uplift Detroit families through health, education, and community empowerment, removing barriers to healthcare and bringing trusted organizations directly into neighborhoods.
