Award-Winning Belle Isle Art Fair Returns August 1–2 with 140 Juried Artists, Large-Scale Art Installations and Family-Friendly Creative Experiences
The award-winning Belle Isle Art Fair returns Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, bringing 140 juried artists, large-scale art installations, emerging artists, food trucks, hands-on conservation projects and family-friendly creative experiences to one of Detroit’s most beautiful outdoor settings.
Set near the Belle Isle Casino and Scott Memorial Fountain, the fair is nationally known for attracting top artists, but this year’s event offers even more visual and interactive elements.
The Belle Isle Art Fair also highlights beloved local artists who may be less able to manage a full booth due to age or health, along with approximately a dozen emerging artists, including teens and young adults from Mint Artists Guild and area artists who are new to the art fair scene.

Interview opportunities include:
Mark Loeb, Belle Isle Art Fair Producer
Mark can discuss why the fair has become a nationally recognized event, the importance of showcasing both established and emerging artists, and why he describes the location as “the intersection of art and nature.”
Participating Artists and Emerging Artists
Artists can share what they are exhibiting, how they create their work and why the Belle Isle Art Fair is an important opportunity to connect with the public.
