On a perfect summer evening at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill, the 11th Annual Cars & Cigars Smoke Detroit dazzled from every angle. More than just an event, it was an experience — a glamorous collision of horsepower, high fashion, and heart, all under the stars in Sterling Heights.

From the moment you walked through the gates, the energy was undeniable. The crowd was breathtaking. Detroit’s elite turned out in full force — impeccably dressed, effortlessly stylish, and radiating charisma. This was a gathering of decision-makers, innovators, creatives, and philanthropists. Everywhere you looked was a who’s-who of influence and success. Designer gowns swept the ground. Custom suits shimmered. Laughter flowed like the rare bourbons being poured. It wasn’t just a guest list — it was a statement.

And the cars? Fabulous. A jaw-dropping collection of exotics and classics lined the promenade — Ferraris, Bentleys, Aston Martins, Lamborghinis — each more stunning than the next. It was a moving art gallery of power and precision that had the entire crowd stopping, staring, and snapping photos. Whether you’re a lifelong enthusiast or just appreciate beauty on wheels, the display was pure automotive seduction.

Inside the amphitheater, 162 elegantly dressed tables awaited guests, each one adorned with bottles of Celani Family Vineyards Cabernet and Chardonnay — a signature touch of class and legacy that guests savored throughout the evening.

But it wasn’t just about the flash — it was about the flavor. And in that department, Chef Bobby Nahra stole the show. Known for his creative mastery and elevated Mediterranean flair, Chef Nahra curated a multi-course dinner that was nothing short of world-class. Guests dined on flawlessly prepared dishes that balanced elegance with indulgence. The presentation? Gorgeous. The flavors? Unforgettable. Bobby Nahra proved once again why he’s one of the most respected names in the culinary scene.

While the atmosphere was one of luxury, the mission was one of meaning. Over the past 10 years, Cars & Cigars has raised more than $14 million to support Detroit-area nonprofits through the Celani Family Foundation, including organizations like Gleaners Community Food Bank and the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, both of which provide essential services to those in need across the city.

Co-founded by Detroit icons Tom Celani and Dario Bergamo, Cars & Cigars continues to raise the bar, blending philanthropic purpose with unforgettable celebration.
Last night wasn’t just a fundraiser. It was a declaration: Detroit knows how to do good — and look damn good doing it.
We’re already counting down to year twelve!
