When you hear the name Trick Trick what comes to mind?

He's undoubtedly a fierce protector of all things Detroit but he also has a heart of gold.

As a main fixture in the Detroit hip Hop community, Trick Trick has a long string of hits including the hit anthem "Welcome to Detroit City" with Eminem.

But he's more than an MC he's an entertainment heavyweight.

I recently caught up with him and this is a bit of our conversation.

Question 1. Tell us something about you that most people don’t know?
Answer: I’m a peaceful Man, I work in the community on a daily basis with Hebrew Israelite teenagers to show them a better way to live their life.

Question 2. What are you passionate about?
Answer: I have a soft spot for people with Down Syndrome, I give a lot of time and resources to that cause

Question 3. What are you working on right now?
Answer: I’m putting the finishing touches on a movie called “The Last 24” which I wrote, executive produced and made my directorial debut so I’m very proud of this film.


Question 4. What’s you favorite movie?
Answer: I like a lot of movies but I don’t watch movies that don’t have any Black People in them.

Question 5. What’s next after the movie?
Answer: After the movie I’m gearing up for the launch of my SmokeGang Brand clothing line and cannabis influenced accessories. I’m also filming a new movie / musical with bumpy knuckles aka Freddy Foxx called “OGP” and I plan to take my radio show up a few notches, with a series of videos, podcast, and video radio mix shows.

Question 6: What motivates you?
Answer: Waking up in my right mind, and having my health and strength is all the motivation I need
