Hey Doc:
Let me begin by saying I appreciate the words of wisdom you provide on Fox 2 with Mental Health Mondays. I know that most people really struggle with facing their mental health and you provide practical tips in ways that everyone can embrace. Ok, with that said, I am having some feelings about my ability to perform sexually.
I am a 66-year-old Black man, and my partner is forty-six. She has a high sex drive and I feel as if I can not keep up or keep her satisfied. I have heard from older women in my life that as women reach forty plus, their sex drive increases and men’s sex drive decreases. I have taken Viagra, Cialis, the pills at the Gas station yet I am not enough. I have been feeling sad and I am sure my lady feels that I am simply not myself.
My question is should I just break up with her to allow her the opportunity to connect with someone who can satisfy her? I do love her, and she is not complaining however I remember how I used to do things in the bedroom, and I am no where near that. HELP Dr. Sabrina.
