How to Wear a Silk Scarf

I’m always saying how a good hat finishes off an outfit so nicely, and that’s true. However, a hat doesn’t always have to be a “hat”. It can also be a beautiful, ultra classic, wildly feminine silk scarf. Silk scarves are great because they add a little hint of elegance, style and of course femininity. They can be worn pretty much all four seasons and can be just as utilitarian as they are pretty. I wear mine to hide when I’m well overdue for a loc tightening, to cover my roots. I wear them in place of a hat in the cooler months when I want my head to stay warm, but don’t want to wear a heavy hat the whole time and I also don’t want to have to find a place to lay my hat, when I get tired of it. Whatever the reason, it just looks so much better than your regular old baseball cap or your winter beanie from several winters past. Pair it with the right earrings and your sweatsuit is suddenly an “outfit of the day” instead of just loungewear.

I thought I’d share a few ways I like to tie mine and hopefully, you’ll try them all and find a few ways that work well for you. If you enjoy the video, go ahead and subscribe, but even if you don’t, please be sure to leave a comment, so I know who stopped by.
