Cartier has erected a very sleek pop-up shop, themed The Culture of Design, at Somerset Collection in Troy. The posh space allows guests to explore some of the Maison’s signature collections – including Love, Juste un Clou, Tank, Trinity and more. The store is stunning and is a real must see for luxury lovers.

Guests are greeted by a hostess behind a podium and red velvet ropes. The entire area is decorated in shades of white. The lounge area, with its cream sofa’s and tables, serves up refreshments for guests as they wait for the next available sales associate.

I went with my friend, posh home realtor Joy Santiago Clark, who couldn’t walk away without purchasing the gold Love ring. We learned a lot during our quick private tour, led by Samantha Gale, from Cartier in New York.

For Cartier, it all starts with the clean and precise design. This radical concept is the Maison’s signature, making it one of the only designers capable of conceiving jewelry and watches that form a singular collection of emblematic designs.

Tank, Trinity, Juste un Clou, Santos, Love, Panthère, Ballon Bleu. Instantly recognizable, these collections are based on 4 main principles of creation: the purity of the line, the accuracy of the shape, the precision of proportions and the precious details.

It was exciting to see the beautiful classics and some new pieces added to this very impressive collection, from Juste un clou (the nail) to the all-time favorite Tank. Check out the pop-up shop from Cartier. It’s quite exquisite.
